Sprouted Oatmeal

Ingredients

2 cups Raw Sproutable Oat Groats
1 large apple, chopped
5 dates
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup date soak water
pinch of cinnamon
dash of allspice
2 T. maple sytup (optional)

Directions

2 to 2 1/2 days before making - Start sprouting oats

Place oat groats in large jar and soak for 10 hours. Drain and rinse. Place jar mouth down at a 45 degree angle. Rinse and drain daily for 2 days.

1 hour before making - Soak dates

Soak pitted dates for 1 hour.

Preparation

Add chopped apple, sprouted oats, vanilla, cinnamon, allspice, and maple syrup into food mixer and blend.

Place in a bowl and stir in raisins by hand.

Place in bowls, garnish with cinnamon, and serve.

Servings: 2-4
Prep time: About 10 minutes after sprouting oats (2 to 2 1/2 days) and soaking dates (1 hour)
